SO MUCH TO DO!!!

I have SOOOOO much to do and don't know how it's going to all get done! Videos need to be edited & posted on youtube, pictures need to be edited and sent to Linda, oh man, I'm slightly overwhelmed. I got everything sorted yesterday, so that's a start. Now, I have to sort everything within the folders organized. Yawn yawn. I better get started. Have a lovely day

Getting Ready for The Beach!

Well, it got super duper cold last night and Olivia woke up at 3:45 am & so I picked her up to see how she was doing, and she was FROZEN! I felt awful. So I picked her up and put her in bed with me to warm her up. She didn't get to sleep for a while b/c she was so cold. Eventually she fell asleep and we were cozy in bed.

I woke up w/ a big FLASH in my eyes this morning b/c my mom thought it'd be cool to take a pic of us sleeping together. lol. So we woke up and got dressed, ate a little breakfast and are now waiting for 10:00 am to roll around so we can leave to go see the San Diego Temple. THat's my FAVORITE temple ever. I want to go inside one day. It's so beautiful. I'll put up pictures and videos of it later. It's harder to get the videos edited while we're here. I'm trying though, we'll see.

After the temple, we're going to go to drop David off at a business meeting, then after that, some lunch & to the BEACH! yay! I'm excited. Well, better get going! See ya later!

We're Here!

Yay! It's 4:02 pm and we're here at the cabin settled in. Olivia did WONDERFUL. I'm going to make this short so I can start editing and uploading videos, we'll see how far I get!

We're Late!

We were supposed to have left at 8:00 am and between the running around, trying to get everything packed, going to Jiffy Lube, packing lunches, loading the van, etc, we're running behind. But it's ok....we'll make it. The stupid dog Hugs got out right when we were ready to go. I don't like that dog, she ate my spaghetti stinkin' dog.

We've got the whole van set up, the t.v. w/ the dvd player, the "boom box" to project the sound from the t.v. It's a cool setup. My mom just said, "i remember back in the day when we would just get in the car & go! No electronic setups, etc." lol Olivia is doing great. Well we're leaving.

Lazy Sunday

It's been a very nice Sunday. Since I only had 3 1/2 to 4 hrs of sleep the night before, I was in bed last night by 9 pm. I slept until 9 this morning. Talk about wonderful catching up! It was great. David got up with Olivia this morning, fed her, then put her back down for a nap. We got up around 9:30 am & had a nice time playing w/ Olivia in our bed. She's so cute & wonderful.

We got some money from the bank, went to Walmart to get a few things, and Olivia rode in her big girl part of the cart. Then I took David to Serranos. That's my FAVORITE restaurant ever. It's so delicious. Yummy fajitas.

Patty called me yesterday, I appreciated it. I was having a hard time with Sabrina leaving, and thought I should call Pat to talk to her, but I decided not to. Then she called me that night, and I was glad. She has lots of very good advice.

I FINALLY got done packing all our stuff, and I'm sure I forgot SOMETHING. It's weird to have to pack for a baby too. I have to try and think, "Ok, how many times am I going to have to change her outfit? How many diapers will I need for 3 days." (No, I still have no idea how many diapers she uses a day....you'd think after 5 months! Haha)

In celebration of Olivia's 5 month birthday, I'm taking her to the beach. That's what this whole trip is about, her 5 month bday. That's why we're going! haha. Not really, but in our (mine & Olivia's) little world, that's what it's for.

I got my laptop up and running, I'm taking my video camera & my digital camera, so we'll hopefully be able to put up videos AS we go and each day in San Diego. It should be fun. The only thing I'm not 100% sure of is whether or not I will have an internet connection. If we don't, then it will be a sad story. I"ll have to wait until we come back to put them up. If you don't see any new videos up Monday night or Tuesday LATEST, that's why.

I love my life right now. I'm saddened by Sabrina, and frustrated with the situation, but I try not to dwell on it and focus my energy towards Olivia. She can tell when I'm upset and I don't want that to effect her. She's so fun to have around.

Well, my brother Robin is griping at me now b/c I kicked him out of our cabin we'll be staying in in San Diego. Him & Adam get to sleep in a tent outside or in the van. lol, There aren't enough beds in the cabin, so the boys get to sleep outside. haha. Oops! lol, Well, I gotta go see if I can get this video edited to put up on YouTube.

Sad Day For Eli

Well I didn't go to bed until 4:30 am last night b/c I was working on my computer. I got it up and running & I'm so thrilled. I now have Windows Vista AND Windows XP loaded on the same computer. It's called dual booting, and I wasn't sure if I could do it or not, but I managed it. Anyway, I didn't get done with that project til early this morning & finally I got to sleep.

I woke up this morning when Sabrina came into my room and wanted to say goodbye, so I told her to come back in & see me right before she left, and so I closed my eyes, and then looked over at her again & she was WAKING UP OLIVIA @ 7 AM!!!! I was so angry. I told her to get the heck out of my room ASAP or I'd have to break her legs. She left, but Olivia was awake. Son of a circus Clown!

Then, a few min later, I heard someone start to scream & cry & slam doors, stomping up & down the hall, so I went in to see what in the world was going on. Sabrina had a meltdown b/c she couldn't find her shoe, and she was wailing like a weirdo at the top of her lungs. Whatever, I was already awake, 3 hours later.

So I went to the airport with them. It was very sad. I kept crying everytime someone got off the plane and gave their loved one a big hug & kiss. It was so sweet, and I couldn't stop crying! This one lady knelt down and held out her arms & her two little girls came running towards her screaming "MOMMY!!!" And she picked them up and gave them big hugs. I got all teary eyed & stuff! I was so embarassed. I think I'm slightly hormonal, I only had 3 hours of sleep & was very saddened by Sabrina's departure. Well, David wants to go do something. It's a beautiful day. Getting ready for bathtime!!

She's had a good day today. We all have. I've been exhausted all day, being a girl sucks sometimes, but I got some good news! I took my laptop into a computer shop to be repaired, (I don't trust geeksquad) LOL, and I thought it would cost me $100 to fix the issue, bit he checked it out & it looks like it was just a bad chord for power. So I asked him howmuch it was gonna cost andhe said nothing since he didn't actually fix anything. GS would have charged $60 to do that!! LOL, but he told me it was just the power cord, which I felt stupid for not figuring that out myself, so we went to best buy & picked up a $35 cord. It works!! I was overjoyed it worked, but mad at the same time bc I felt like a dummy. Haha, it doesn't matter now, it's fixed!!! So I'm restoring it now bc it's SoOO slow & we'll be back in business. If I can get an Internet in San diego next week where we'll be staying, I'll be hopefully putting up vids each day, we'll see!! Well I'm gonna go finish up the restor.

Waiting for olivia to fall asleep

She's so full of energy. I think I'm going to take her to walmart. I want to use her cart cover and get some junk food andmaybe by the time we're done, she'll be ready for bed!!!

Tired but not sleepy

Is there a difference? I'm tired, exhausted, but not ready to sleep. Partly b/c Olivia has decided to wake up & shout at me from her crib. I don't want to pick her up b/c I want her to learn how to put herself back to sleep, but I don't think it's going to work. She just had the blanket covering her face, so I took it off, but she seems to still be upset. Hm, David will get her now.

We've decided to go to San Diego this upcoming week. I'm pretty excited. I guess while we're there, we'll be going to Sea World & the beach too, I've never been to either! I'm so excited to be taking Olivia to her first beach & Sea World ever! It's going to be very exciting. Be looking for videos & pictures coming up on here and YouTube Thursday and Friday of next week. I have a feeling we'll be taking lots of videos & pictures.

Olivia just spit up all over David & herself. Maybe she had a tummy ache! lol, oops. She seems fine now. Diaper changed, new clothes, and just happy!

I'm going to be off work for a long time I've realized. I won't be in the rest of this week or next week at all. It'll be nice. Well, I guess I'm going to go lay down. Good night! Uninterrupted

Today was a relatively good day. Olivia was quite fussy & demanded alot of attention today. She's usually pretty happy & relaxed, but today she wanted me to hold her all day. So I did. I did alot of video editing today. I love doing it, and it brings happiness to others, which is great. I'm glad I can assist in putting smiles on ppl's faces once in a while. Sabrina is leaving in 4 days & I'm pretty torn about it, I try not to let it show, but I randomly start crying, and it's just hard. She's not leaving on good terms either, with any of the family, and it's sad & very difficult. She knows she needs to stay here, but it's easier on her if she goes back, b/c my dad will let her get away with everything. Partly b/c he chooses to overlook it in an effort to avoid conflict & confrontation, and partly b/c he's a man! Men aren't wired the same way women are, so it makes it hard sometimes. Especially for him. Plus he's selfish, but whatever. I can't change the situation. If I could, I definately would.

I'm so glad I have David, he's such a wonderful man. He's finally getting over his illness. I'm telling you what, when he's sick, you'd think he was dying of some wretched disease. Is that how you spell wretched? It looks right. He's doing well with his job. He might go to working 4, 10 hr days instead of 5, 8 hr days. He would MUCH rather do that. He loves having a full weekend off. If he could get a 3 day weekend every week, he'd be tickled pink! lol Who says that anymore? Tickled pink.

I worked tonight for a few hours. I caugh a customer trying to screw us over. I don't feel like going into details at the moment b/c I have to go to bed soon, I have to work tomorrow morning. My mom will babysit Olivia tomorrow while David & I are at work. I only work a few days a week, enough to keep up with my spending habit. I have to support my own habbits....shopping, splurging, eating out, etc. I'm terrible I know. Plus, I like to buy expensive electronics in case you never noticed. I would like to buy another iPhone just for the fun of it. But I don't think I will yet. Maybe one day. ;-) Ha, well, I just got Olivia to bed around 11 pm, she woke up after I put her in bed, but she just talked nicely for about 10 min & then fell back asleep. She doesn't take very long naps throughout the day anymore. Only 20-30 min MAX!! It's sad b/c I don't get to take long naps while she's napping anymore either. I'm always tired b/c I go to bed super duper late & wake up at 8 am with her....I guess I should go to bed earlier. Night times are the only time I have completely to myself, no baby, no hubby, no siblings, no parents, just me time where I can edit videos uninterrupted, do my blog uninterrupted, watch videos uninterrupted, learn about computer stuff uninterrupted, do you see where I'm going with this? I like being uninterrupted during "me" time. It's quite nice. Well, I'm going to bed now. Will check back in with you later!

YouTube Videos

I have TONS of videos that need to be edited & put up on YouTube, but I can't decide where to start. Start from the beginning, before Olivia's birth and work up to now, or go backwards!! The only reason I've not started from the beginning is because there are SOOOO many hours of video from the hospital and it's a tiny bit overwhelming. So, I've put it off and put it off, so now I have to decide where to start so I can get started! ha! Eating breakfast

Eating breakfast. Yum yum. She already ate some applesauce and now she's eating her yummy pablam. LOL. I guess I'm in a "conference" with the parents about sabrina. Sabrina has been a terror & I believe it's bc she's leaving to go back to MO. Sadly, everyone is happy she's leaving. She has been blamed for stealing ppl's money, & other things, & it's really old. I hate divorce. It should be much more difficult to get divorced these days. Like in order to get divorced, you have to go through many months of marriage counseling. My dad, love him, but he's been inappropriate about the situation making it difficult for sabrina to love my mom. When she hears how terrible & awful she is for sooooo many years, it's hard for her. Blah!!!

My encounter with the ghost

The ghost just flashed a bright, blinding light into my eyes just now. It's 2:30am, I'm still awake, not sure why, but as I was barely closing my eyes to start the sleeping process, a bright light caught my eye, and she shined a small but very bright light in my eyes. But why!? The mystery continues. My phones' keys are sticky bc earlier I think olivia got buggars on my fingers & I typed on it. That or i picked my nose & forgot to wash my hands. Now it's sticky. Update, a blue light flashed on the ceiling for a split second. Too bad I don't know morse code.

Watching YouTube

I'm just watching the YouTube and getting ready to get tired so I can go to sleep. Olivia went to sleep around 10:30 - 11:00 pm so it was nice! I have these stupid gnats or something flying in my room. I think the ghost let them in. I told her to not do that. I don't know if it's a her, but it feels like a her, & that'd be alot less creepy. So it's a girl. I need to ask her what her name is, but she's shy cuz I only catch glimpses of her from time to time. Hm, I'll keep u updated on her where-abouts & status. Haven't seen her for a while, but I'll let ya know. Well, it's 1:00am now, so I better get to bed. Olivia will be up in a few hrs. Gnite!!!

Still watching conference

We're just about done watching conference. Olivia is being so good! She has snot in her chest & can't cough it up. So she sounds like she's growling or purring like a cat. LOL. It's too funny. I keep telling her to clear her throat but doesn't know how. Stupid colds. She got sick & now David is sick. I guess I'm next.

Watching General Conference

We are watching the prophet of our church speak on TV from UT. President Thomas S. Monson is amazing, he's also very funny. Not much else is happening this Sunday. Just watching Conference & having family time.

It's Almost Midnight

And we're all still awake. We think there's a ghost in our room, b/c one minute, Olivia will be just fine, talking to us, playing, etc, and then the next second she'll dart her eyes into outerspace looking up at the ceiling kind of, and she'll look concerned & then start her nervous wrist flicking that she does when she's over stimulated, nervous or playing. LOL! So, David said there's a ghost in the room. That really wouldn't suprise me b/c I've been seeing it around the house over the last month, but wasn't sure if it was my mind/eyes playing tricks on me, or if the ghost wanted me to see it, b/c I kept seeing it every day out of the corner of my eye. I wonder what it wants. My soul? Well, I don't think so. Somebody is getting tired, she's rubbing her eyes. It's really terrible, her being sick. B/C she'll cough, and then try to breathe out of her nose, and it just doesn't work b/c she's all congested. Oh the cruelties of germs....well, I better go see if I can get her in bed. I need the ghost to leave & stop waving at her so she'll settle down & sleep. Good night.

Up Late

We had an amazing day today. I had a 2 hour meeting at work this morning which is never that much fun, but it was ok....and when I got home, my mom was packing up picnic stuff to go to the park for a cookout!! So, we joined the family & had a great time. Whenever I get the video edited & posted on youtube, go check it out. It's fun times. By the way, my YouTube channels are pretty cool. I BROKED MY HARD DRIVE!

Well, I got up this morning & decided to put all of my pictures from yesterday onto my Western Digital 500gb External Hard Drive, and so I did! I then was so ambitious, I decided to pick up my & vacuum my room. So I did! As I was vacuuming, I pushed the vacuum under my computer desk and pulled it back out & as I pulled it out, a cord to my Wester Digital 500gb External Hard Drive got caught on the vacuum & my hard drive was pulled off onto the floor. The thing hit pretty hard. Well, I was immediately prepared for the worst, so I plugged it into my computer again, & nothing happened. I tried freezing it for a while in the freezer, I heard that works sometimes, nothing happened. I took a shower & hoped for the best, and tried plugging it back in, nothing happened. So, I sadly accepted defeat & hoped that Best Buy would let me exchange it. FORTUNATELY, (count your many blessings,) I had just done a data back up 5 days ago, so I didn't lose an extremely large amount of data. I packed up Olivia & drove to Best Buy. They exchanged it for me, and now I'm involved in the long process of putting all of my data that I burnt onto DVD's back onto the HD. I have to work tonight, so I'll hopefully finish that in a couple days. Fun Stuff!

Labor Day Weekend

Well it's Labor Day Weekend, and we're having a blast. Friday we hung out all night & played fun video games like nerds. Olivia is teething so she didn't have as much fun as she usually does, but we're all enduring it. Saturday, we took Olivia bowling at the Chandler Bowling Alley & it was so much fun. David ended up beating us, but only by a few, I stayed up with him for the whole game. Olivia loved it, I think she mainly loved the neon lights & strobe lights along with the fun music. Then we went swimming that afternoon & had a blast. Olivia LOVES the water. She tries to swim & move around all over, it's pretty cute. HOWEVER!! She didn't want to go to sleep last night so we were up with her til about 2:30 a.m. with her. Fun times. We went to church today & I played the piano for Primary. I was pretty reluctant to do it, but it turned out to be lots of fun. We had the best fried chicken tonight for dinner. I LOVE MY MOTHER & HER COOKING!! Yep. Tomorrow we're going on a hike in Payson to the waterfalls & stuff. Should be lots of fun. At midnight, I have to go pick up a baby b'jorn thingy to carry Olivia around tomorrow. Maybe I'll do it early tomorrow morning, not sure yet. Anyway, I'm gonna go play some COD4!

Lazy Sunday Afternoon

Well we just got out of church not too long ago. We had a good time. I had to sing in Sacrament meeting in front of everyone with 5 other ladies. I was a little nervous, but it was fun & I think we sounded pretty nice. Olivia is sitting in her new Bumbo seat, It's pretty neat, she can sit up all by herself in it. She loves it. I think we'll be using it alot. She has learned how to reach in front of her & grab things, like MY HAIR! lol and anything else you put in her reach. She's also teething. I felt her tooth coming in yesterday & it was pretty exciting. But she's alot more fussy than normal. Well, I better go, I'm going to be scanning my pictures from back in the day onto my computer here in a minute.

WE'RE HERE!! 07/31/08

Well, we made it. We're here in Arizona, unpacking, swimming, sleeping, shopping, hanging out, and having fun. Here are a few pictures that I enjoy. Visco came to visit for about a week & we had a blast. It's pretty freaking hot here, but I love it! Olivia LOVES to go swimming every day and is adjusting to the change in weather & time zones. David found a job & I start mine on Friday! Yay! Now, we just have to find an awesome apartment & we'll be set.

Ok, I'm going to get some boxes tonight. I'm going to get some and tomorrow I'm going to be packing. Packing everything except the necessities, a few clothes, the computer & some other stuff like that. Anyway,...

I've been playing Call of Duty 4 alot lately & I LOVE it! I play with Robert Winters & it's so much fun. We're best buddies. Anyway, I have to go pick up these boxes & take my brother Adam to my grandma's house.

Am I smashing him? Yes I am. It's Tuesday, July 14, 2008 & I just realized, like ACTUALLY realized that we leave for Arizona in 5 days. I've been counting down but it just hit me that it's really 5 days away! Nervous? Yes. Anxious? Yes. Excited? Thrilled!

We still have ALOT to do still, I haven't even started packing. I need boxes. I better get a move on....

7 DAYS!

Well kids, there's only 7 days left til we leave for Arizona, and I'm excited. I haven't even started packing yet,...I don't even have boxes!! So I guess I better get a move on. My dad is coming to pick me up here shortly to go to WM w/ him...yeah, we're going to WM at 1 am! It'll be fun. David is playing Halo 2, Olivia is asleep, and I'm really awake for some silly reason. I played Call Of Duty 4 w/ Robert tonight for like 2 hours, it was fun. Then David kicked me off so he could play Halo....loser. lol jk. Not much else is going on, just hanging out & having fun, well I'm off. See ya!

Celebration City!

Well, yesterday was lots of fun! I enjoyed it. However, it was also the first time I had been away from Olivia for THAT long! 15 hours and 15 minutes is the longest I've been away from her and it was hard. But we did have lots of fun! Steve & Rachel took us to Branson where we started off shopping at the Tanger. Lots of CUTE clothes & cool stores. We ate lunch at this hillbilly place called something.....I forgot, Shorty Smalls. It was ok. Then we went to Celebration City, pretty fun stuff. We got a little sun, rode lots of rides, spent a little money, and it was great. But I was overjoyed to be home with my baby girl after being away from her for 15 hours and 15 minutes!! haha

HAPPY 4th OF JULY!!

Happy 4th Of July!! We're having so much fun so far. We went out to Neck City with my dad & hung out for a while. He rode his motor scooter out there, it was funny. We rode it around before we went out to Neck City & it was so much fun. David wrecked it not even 30 seconds after he got on it....goof ball. I got it on video, so I'll be posting that on YouTube shortly.

Now it's almost 4 pm and we're going to go swimming @ my grandmother's house. We need to get some sun before we get to AZ or we're both going to sizzle! Ha Ha. Olivia probably won't swim with us, the water might be too cold & she'd have a conniption if we put her in the water. But it's always funny to try it out on her toes.

She's having fun so far. She has on the cutest little outfit that Grandma Rachel got her. Well, I'll check back in later!

Waiting

Just waiting for my package to arrive from UPS that has all my computer parts in it so I can start building my computer! I got my case yesterday, and now I'm just waiting for everything else. Olivia is sleeping in her swing, and I'm still waiting!! HAHA

Every Day Blogging

Today is David's birthday. He's an old man!! But he's still a cutie. I'm waiting for my parts to come in from TN & CA this week. I can't WAIT to get everything here so I can start building my computer. Linda's computer is in the shop right now being worked on, and it's been gone for quite a while. We all know how patient Linda is, one of her finer qualities, (ha ha) and she said, "If you get your computer built before I get mine back I'm gonna be mad!!" I thought that was pretty funny. I'm pretty sure I'll have it built before she gets here, as long as shipping doesn't take too long.

Both of these quotes were by Nova, sunshine Nova. I've never heard of some of the analogies that she comes up with, but they are humorous and that's all that matters.

Building My Computer

So my computer is an eMachines T3418 & needless to say it's just about shot. It has the worst processor, terrible hard drive, low memory & is all around a piece of junk. However!! It has lasted now for 2 1/2 years, miraculously. Don't ask me how, with as much stuff as I do on the computer, I'm surprised it's been able to keep up. I'm impressed. But, it was time for an upgrade, a major upgrade. This one is dying intermittently, and I'm afraid to wait too much longer to get one, b/c it's just a matter of time. Like last night for example, I left it on so when Olivia woke up, I could read the news or check my email while she was eating. I got up, went over to the computer & it had magically shut itself off. So I tried to turn it on, and it wouldn't start up. So I finished feeding her, and went to bed. FINALLY 7 hours later it decided to turn on. So, that's when I rolled up my sleeves, logged onto the website & ordered parts to build my computer. I placed my order, and we're well on our way to having an awesome machine. This is the first time I've ever built a computer, so I'm hoping I'm able to do so with no troubles. We'll see. If I DO run into any problems, I'm lucky enough to have knowledgeable, wonderful friends who can assist me in the exciting adventure! When all the parts arrive sometime, hopefully, next week, I'll let you know how it goes. Maybe I'll even video tape it. YAY!!

Is It Worth It?

Is it worth it to be nice all the time?
Is it worth it to hold your tongue at a time when there are so many words to be said even though most likely they will do no good & the other party will blame you for their incompetence? Is it worth it to restrain your right hand & not slap the individual next to you who is acting like a complete & utter moron?

I don't know. I just don't know.

What I DO know, is that when I am nice even under difficult circumstances, & hold my tongue even when the other person needs to be corrected, or put my hands in my pockets to keep from slapping the individual, nothing is accomplished except them getting away with their idiocy, and me, perhaps, "rising above the situation." I know that if I had been a little meaner & corrected the person or persons involved & gave them a piece of mind after backhanding them across the face, I would have felt much better, they would know exactly how I feel, and would probably leave me alone altogether. However, I did, in fact, hold my tongue in order to be nice while restraining my hands to keep from becoming violent and let me tell you what, I don't know if it was worth it! The person and/or persons involved are still getting away with the most obnoxious behaviors that could, indeed, be detrimental to my child's future relationships among other things.

The only consolation that I have is that in 27 days, we will be far, far away from the person or persons involved in my every day stress & anxiety. I suppose that is why I don't get mean & give that person or persons involved a piece of my mind & slap them silly. No, it's not just one person, it's a few. But, like I said, I can endure the next 27 days (hopefully) with no incident because I honestly believe that if I jumped on it when someone offended me, the results would be no better and possibly worse, if that's possible. So I'll "just keep swimming" and "turn the other cheek." I only have so many cheeks to turn, so I guess after I'm done turning & can stand it no longer, I'll let loose, but HOPEFULLY I'll make it the next 27 days.

I do still wonder though,

I did a photo shoot with Olivia today. It was so much fun. She has on her "I Love Grandpa" bib, and she loved it. She's so cute & is so photogenic! lol. Well, I'm off to print the pictures & give them to her grandfathers....all four of them! ;-)

I Fit Into My "Pre-Preggo" Jeans Today!

I'm stoked.

I have felt like a fatso for about 10 months now, almost 11, b/c I was knocked up.
Apparently when you get knocked up, you gain weight!

APPARENTLY at the time of knocking up, you are no longer a human being, your a host.
A host who no longer has control over the body, which in my case, I had a very enjoyable pregnancy, but just gained a little weight.

50 pounds of weight to be exact!

EVERYONE tells me, "You can't tell that you gained 50 lbs!," or, "You look so small for being 9 months pregnant! Where is that 50 pounds?" Well let me tell you what kids, it was there.
Now, I've seen many pregnant women who eat & eat & eat & eat some more & no longer have necks, or ankles b/c they become cankles, and have jiggly arms b/c they think,
"Hey, since I'm pregnant, I can eat whatever I want!" Well, my friends, I didn't do that, but I did gain weight.

Anyway, I tried on my pair of pants that fit me BEFORE pregnancy, but haven't fit me since, and magically they fit. I'm so excited!!

So now I'm off to eat a big plate of spaghetti with some delicious bread & some raspberry lemonade & my favorite restaurant with my hot hubby! Haha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh the irony.

Another LONG blog for the day

Mmk, so I mentioned before that this blogging site is mainly so I can keep everyone up to date with whats going on in our crazy world after we move away from the majority of our family & friends. I like the layout and design of this site, so we'll go with this one for now, and if I decide to add another, or switch to another site, I'll post a blog about that!

Plans are to move to Arizona in July. Many ppl are wondering why?
Like, "Why in the world are you moving away from wonderful Missouri to boring Arizona?!" Well, I don't know if anyone else realizes this, but there isn't much to do in Joplin, MO. It's a sad but true story.
The job opportunities suck, the entertainment & attractions are crummy, and Missouri is pretty much all around boring.
However! We do have alot of family here, which is the main reason we've stayed here for so long. All of his family is here, and MOST of my family is here. It's nice to be so close to family!!!....and then not so much.
Opposition in all things, so when I say it's great to have all of our family so close, it's not so great. But that's a whole different blog.

Anyways, our reasons to move to Arizona are many, so starting with number one:
We need a change of scenery-We've been there, done all of that here, and are bored.
He hates his job-The job industry out there is WAY bigger than here, so he'll have many more options to go with & won't have to settle for a terrible job he hates going to.
Family-Like I said, family is great, but sometimes a few miles in between helps us appreciate our family even more!! There's alot of "family drama" going on and we've been sucked into it a few times, and it's just no good for us. Adults acting like children, children having to step up & be adults at a "much too young" age. That's a whole other blog as well. On the positive side of family, my mother lives in Arizona, and I've spent the last 3 years having a long distant relationship with her and now that I'm a mother myself, I would really like to have her close by. She's a wonderful person, mother, servant of God, etc, and her wisdom & experiences are needed daily, not only by me, but David & Olivia as well. My mother, that's another blog. Many things to tell in that one.
My job-I am stuck where I'm at right now at my place of employment. I can't move up b/c certain people are doing ALL that they can to keep me where I'm at. I have perservered so far, but when your stuck, and you've done everything you can to get "unstuck" but your still stuck & have no hopes of ever becoming "unstuck," you must evaluate the situation & make some big decisions. I love my job so much that I don't want to quit! So, that's just another great reason to move.
Religion-We're sort of, kind of not so great at getting to our weekly church meetings, and by moving to Arizona, I think it will be harder to miss church & become inactive b/c the church community is significantly larger than here.

Well, that's it for now. I'm getting bored & still need to get dressed & ready for the day.

So it's just after 10 a.m., Olivia is asleep, David is asleep & I'm bored. She was in the happiest mood this morning, just smiling & trying to laugh, she still hasn't mastered that yet, but it's so cute to watch her try!

Decided to try out this blogging thing, thought it would be nice to put stuff up about our WAY EXCITING lives so when we move to Arizona, those who care, or want to, or seem to find it entertaining and/or interesting to read about whatever we're doing, can see what we're up to! Yep, I'm thoughtful like that. ;-) Well that's it for now.
